Care
Most kitties get fed twice a day, but we are happy to provide more meal times as needed. We can administer most medications, clean litter boxes constantly (for cleanliness and smell), provide fresh water daily, and tidy up the room each morning.
Accomodations
The kitties have a view into our aviary, where zebra finches flutter around to keep them entertained during their stay. Each room comes with a built-in scratching board. We provide beds, a clean litter box with litter, a scoop, and serving dishes for both food and water. Our suites feature multiple elevations that create opportunities for fun and exercise.
Grooming
Most kitties do a great job of grooming themselves, but we can help with the more difficult tasks. Nail trims, privacy trims, mat removals, brush-outs, and lion cuts are a few services we provide. Call for an appointment.
Treats
We offer free daily treats! Greenies, fish flakes, and catnip are delivered to each room as often as you'd like. If your kitty's diet is restricted, bring your own. Let us know about any allergies at check-in time.
Cuddles
In addition to regular hugs and cuddles, we have Kitty Cuddlers on staff. They are dedicated caregivers who will play with your kitties and provide treats. Adventurous kitties may wander the shop one at a time.
Extras
Missing your furry family member? We'll email you a picture and status update as often as you like with details about appetite, litter box usage, and general well-being.

Things to keep in mind as you book
Purchase and apply flea protection a few days before you arrive. Make sure to bring enough food for their stay as well as any medication they’ll need. Kitty care happens daily, including holidays! No arrivals or departures during closed hours or Sundays.

After entering in your reservation request, you will be redirected to Square™ to complete your $100 deposit. Only one deposit is needed per reservation regardless of length of stay/number of cats boarding.

Boarding Policies and Requirements
Cancellation Policy
Reservations canceled 7 days prior to arrival date receive a full deposit refund.
Reservations canceled 4-6 days prior to arrival date receive a 50% deposit refund.
Reservation Deposit is non-refundable 3 days prior to your arrival date.
Same-day cancellation or no-shows are responsible for the full cost of the reservation.
You may pick up your kitty anytime during your reservation, but you must pay for all reserved days.
Boarding Requirements
All kitties must be current on FVRCP and Rabies Vaccinations. You must provide proof of these vaccinations upon arrival at meowhaus. If a kitty's vaccination has expired, we cannot accept that kitty for check-in. If your kitty cannot be vaccinated due to health or age, we will also accept an exemption letter from the veterinarian. All kitties must be protected from fleas by means of a topical or oral flea product. We offer Advantage at meowhaus for $25 a dose, which lasts 30 days. Flea collars or all-natural products are not accepted.
Waiver of Liability
Owner understands that the provision of boarding and grooming and related services involves risk and possible injury to the cat, including but not limited to exposure to parasites, bacteria, viruses, other medical conditions passed from cat to cat and from people to cat, sprains, strains, bites, broken bones, fatigue, diarrhea, dehydration, inappetence, nicks, cuts, and even the death of the cat. As a result, the owner hereby voluntarily releases, forever discharges, and agrees to hold harmless and indemnifies meowhaus, its owners, agents, employees, successors, and heirs, from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or rights of action, which are or may be related to, arising out of, or are in any way connected to the provision of service and products to the cat by meowhaus, including those which may be allegedly attributable to the negligent acts of meowhaus owners, agents or employees. Representations of Owner: The owner hereby represents and warrants that the cat has not been exposed to any contagious diseases within the thirty (30) days prior to the cat's arrival at meowhaus, that the cat is in good health, and that the cat has had the vaccinations required. The owner also agrees to disclose any allergies, conditions, special medications, or the like that the cat requires and which could affect the provision of boarding and grooming and related products and services. Finally, the owner represents that the cat is not aggressive and that the cat does not have a history of biting people or other animals. Governing Law Jurisdiction Venue: This agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the state of Oregon without reference to its choice of law principals. Each party hereby irrevocably consents to the jurisdiction and venue of the courts of the State of Oregon, Multnomah County, or the United States District Court for the District of Oregon, and all applicable appellate courts, in connection with any action to interpret or enforce, or otherwise arising out of or relating, this Agreement. Emergency Veterinary Care: meowhaus, its associates, and my emergency contact are authorized the selected amount to be used towards my pets’ care in the event of emergency veterinary care costs, and I agree to pay this amount. Generally, $400 will cover an exam, IV, pain management, and basic emergency care.

Pickup/Drop-Off Policy
If an exception is needed for pickup or drop-off on closed days, the fee is equivalent to paying through the next business day. For example, a Sunday pickup would be charged through Monday.
Limited Sunday hours: 10:00–11:00 AM and 3:00–4:00 PM.
